South Sulawesi Province has the potential to become the largest cement producer in Indonesia. The production of two cement factories, namely PT Semen Tonasa in Pangkep Regency and PT Semen Bosowa in Maros Regency, has reached 13 million tons per year. On the production side, South Sulawesi is ranked second in Indonesia after West Java.
