The demand for flying fish roe exports in South Sulawesi continues to increase in several countries such as China, Russia, Belarus, Japan, Taiwan, South Korea, Lithuania, and Thailand. The archipelagic communities in Takalar Regency, South Sulawesi, are the ones that produce the most flying fish roes. The potential volume of flying fish roe production in South Sulawesi can reach 1,000 tons per year.
