Makassar Untia Stadium

Since 2020, Makassar has a limitation in sports infrastructure, especially in the availability of soccer stadium which meets the requirement of national and international official competition. However, there is a plot of land owned by the Makassar City Government that has the potential to be developed into a new stadium as a part of the development of the Integrated Sports and Entertainment District.

This project aimed to provide international standard sport facilitate, supporting the area development of sports and entertainment, providing strategic public area for creative economy and tourism, as well as increasing the quality of the society and regional income.

The stadium system will be equipped with 2,000 lux lighting, VAR technology, solar panel, and digital management applications. The project is located strategically, reinforced by supporting infrastructures such as electricity line, clean water supply, internet network, and main road access. A development plan also includes the integration of BRT system and sea access through Untia Harbor.
